We’re looking to grow our membership and welcome new members to our volunteer board. Become a member to receive our quarterly newsletter, have a say in community matters, enjoy discounted hall rental rates and stay informed about what’s happening. We’re currently looking for a volunteer to serve as secretary at our board meetings. We meet once a month for a short meeting at the hall. We’re a vibrant, fun board of volunteers, always looking for ways to create a welcoming community and host community events at the hall. Help us out by volunteering with us!
Membership
Membership is open to everyone who meets the following criteria:

Any person residing in Alberta who supports the aims and objectives of the Wye Community League (WCL) and is at least 18 years of age may become a member upon payment of the membership fee.
The membership fee, if any, shall be determined from time to time by the Board of Directors at a meeting. The fee applies to the entire household, and membership is valid from September 1 to August 31. The current membership fee is $0.

Any member wishing to withdraw from membership may do so by notifying the Board. Any member may be expelled from membership by a majority vote of the Board of Directors for any cause the Board deems reasonable.
